The buffet style pizza joint CiCi's Pizza announced that La Mesa is "a perfect fit for the concept and a primary development target" for one of 11 new restaurants they plan to open in the region.
Founded in 1985 and located in 34 states, CiCi’s is best known for its family-centric atmosphere, made-to-order, custom buffet offerings at a budget-conscious price. The chain has over 500 restaurants and one in the San Diego area.
According to a CiCi's Pizza press release, each of the new San Diego restaurants will create 40-50 new jobs and bring roughly $280,000 in local development contracts.
