Farmers Market Can Supply Your Labor Day Barbecue

Your Patch guide to weekend happiness Sept. 2-5.

It’s Labor Day Weekend! Are you excited for the long weekend ahead?

La Mesa and beyond have some fun activities planned. Stay close to home for some fresh produce to cook up on Labor Day, bluegrass on the green, local stand-up comedy and a free family movie. Venture out a little farther and you’ll stay busy with hundreds of insects, a grape stomp and the last of the summer concert series at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. An Eagle Scout in Santee is looking for help with a project on Saturday.
