Double Book Launch

The Helix High School Foundation, in conjunction with Barnes and Noble, is proud to host a double book launch in the Helix Library. The launch features two Helix alumni who are successful authors - Cathy Scott (Helix Class of '67) and Victoria Pynchon (Helix Class of '70).

"It is a privilege to have these authors come back to their high school and share with their efforts with our Helix community," said Peggy Crabtree, also a Helix alumnus, and member of the Helix library staff.

Scott has written a true crime offering titled The Millionaire’s Wife, which is currently in the top 30 of online sales. In addition, she recently had the honor of having her work nominated for an Edgar Award. Scott is also responsible for such works as The Killing of Tupac Shakur, The Killing of Biggie Smalls, and Pawprints of Katrina: Pets Saved and Lessons Learned.
