4th Annual Health Fair

Somali Family Service of San Diego will be hosting the 4th Annual Health Fair for Somali and other East African refugee communities in San Diego on June 23 from 2-5 p.m.

The Health Fair bridges the gap between the East African refugee community and local health care providers and educates attendees about good health and preventative disease practices.

Attendees can attend several educational and wellness presentations and workshops, receive health screenings and participate in the Senior Walk. This year the Health Fair is organized in collaboration with the East African Collaborative, a network of 8 organizations working with East African communities in San Diego, an initiative sponsored by the California Endowment. The theme of this year’s fair is Health Care Reform.
