The Young Actors' Theatre production of Aladdin Jr. premieres Friday at the Encore Theatre in Spring Valley.
The production features more than 30 area youth from 2nd grade to a college freshman.
Perry Lee is the play's director and Katie Wallace the choreographer who devised movement during songs like "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me."
Katee Drysdale, a Steele Canyon High School senior, will play Jasmine. Daniel Castro, a local college freshman, has been cast to play Aladdin.
Aladdin, Jr. at ENCORE! Theatre located at 9620 Campo Rd. in Spring Valley will be performed Nov. 8, 9, 15, 16 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 9, 10, 16, 17 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for students and seniors and $12 for adults for advance purchase and $15 at the door.
