In observance of Veterans Day, local schools and libraries will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12. Additionally, local post offices, including those at 10174 Austin Dr., and 9805 Campo Rd. #165 in Spring Valley will be closed.
The weather forecast for La Mesa on Veterans Day is expected to to be cloudy in the morning, but warming up throghout the day with a high of 74º by noon, and will drop dramatically in the evening to 46º. Rain is not expected Monday evening.
Other notes:
- La Mesa-Spring Valley public schools will be closed on Monday. Grossmont Union High School District schools are closed as well.
- The La Mesa, Spring Valley and Casa de Oro library branches are closed Monday, but will reopen on Tuesday.
- The Spring Valley Community Center, Spring Valley Teen Center and Spring Valley Gym are closed as well.
- Emergency service is not affected by the holiday. Call 911 if you have an emergency.
