Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

The celebration will take place Saturday, July 2, at the Rancho San Diego Library.

Though the celebration will be two days early, the festivities will be just as patriotic.

Hundreds of local residents are expected to gather at the Rancho San Diego Library on Saturday, July 2, fro the "Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration," which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Myriad activities are scheduled for each and every member of the family. There will be crafts and food for sale, in addition to booths from local vendors and groups.

For the kids, there will be a bike decorating contest. Kids are encouraged to bring their decorated bikes for a chance to win.

Live music will be provided by Trails and Rails, the acoustic duo of Paula Strong and Walt Richards that specilaizes in old cowboy songs, train songs, and folk tunes.
