Lighting up La Mesa: Decorated Homes Add Sparkle to the Jewel of the Hills

Nine square miles and thousands of twinkling lights. That's La Mesa this week before Christmas as homes shine for the holidays, including streets like Eastridge, Stanford, Stadler (with its Holiday Hill), Dallas and Chicago. All are eligible, by the way, for the Deck the House contest Patch is offering that awards finalists $500 and a grand prize of $100,000 for local public schools.
