First Ever Hooleys to Hooleys Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk
East County runners and walkers are able to make history and participate in the first-of-its-kind half marathon and 5K run/walk on St. Patrick's Day.
On your mark, get set, run! Celebrate St. Patrick's Day by running for a good cause right in your backyard.
Run East County (RunEC) and the East County Chamber of Commerce will host the first annual Hooleys to Hooleys Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk on March 17.
Their goal is to create a series of race events that promise to quickly join the ranks of best running experiences available to runners today and years to come.

Runners will choose from three race events which include a half marathon course, a 5k run/walk and a green mile for adults with disabilities.
The fun doesn't stop at the finish line but will continue on at the Finish Line Festival.

The festival's St. Patrick's Day theme event will have a light breakfast, massages, live Irish music and bounce houses for kids.
Proceeds for the marathon and walk will benefit East County charities including St. Madeliene-Sophie's Center, Home of Guiding Hands, Partnerships with
Industry, the East County Transitional Living Center and Stoney's Kids.
Registration is available online. Here are the registration fees:
- Half Marathon: $65.
- 5K Run/Walk: $40.
- Green Mile Fun Run/Walk: $20.
