Dr. James Kitchen, vice president of student affairs, San Diego
State University, is the guest speaker at this community celebration featuring performances by the Helix Charter High School Bagpipe Band, Moreton Bay Fig Morris (an English folk dance troupe), and the Axis Gospel Singers.
There will also be an awards ceremony honoring local middle school students.
