2011 Spring Valley Easter Egg Hunts Guide

There are numerous places to take the kids if they're in search for those elusive Easter eggs.

One of the rites of spring for children is the annual search for the elusive treasure known as: the Easter egg.

Though their significance to the actual death and resurrection of Christ is often questioned, the traditions of the Easter bunny and Easter egg hunts are timeless.

In Spring Valley, there are numerous places to take the kids for their Easter egg hunts, spanning two weekends.

The morning Easter Egg Extravaganza begins at 10 a.m. in King Hall. Children will also have the chance to decorate a paper Easter egg, which will be placed on a giant cross at the church on Easter Sunday, April 24. There will be a short play highlighting the significance of Easter in a humerous way. The Easter egg hunts will commence afterward, with young 0-4 years of age picking up eggs in the church lawn, and kids ages 5 and up searching for eggs in the playground area. Please make your reservation in the church office (619) 670-4009 and let them know how many kids you will be bringing. Bring your own Easter basket.
