Sen. Joel Anderson host annual Legislative Open House on Nov. 21st

California Sen. Joel Anderson (R-Alpine) has announced his annual Legislative Open House will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Toyota of El Cajon, 965 Arnele Ave. in El Cajon. The free event is an opportunity for Anderson and his staff to meet with constituents and hear ideas on how to improve California. Constituents will be invited to offer ideas for legislative bills in 2014. Anderson says several of the bills he has introduced in the past originated from suggestions by attendees who attended this annual event.

“It is important for me to represent my district to the best of my ability,” Anderson said. “This event gives me an opportunity to hear directly from my constituents about their opinions and legislative ideas. Certainly my best legislative ideas have come from the people I serve.” Donated hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided. Anderson’s 36th district includes East San Diego County. To RSVP, contact the El Cajon district office at (619) 596-3136, or visit www.senate.ca.gov/anderson.
