2nd-3rd Graders are Practicing Multipication at the Library

Multipication League is helping 2nd-3rd graders learn and memorize the multipication table at the Casa de Oro Library.

Since March, 2nd and 3rd graders (8-9 year olds) have had the opportunity to join the Multipication League, a 12 week, twice a week afterschool program at the Casa de Oro Branch Library.  It's designed to give extra support to be more successful at math by employing several different learning methods, including music, writing and games.  Participants learn and memorize the multipication table/chart while having fun.  They also receive an afternoon snack.

It's a highly popular program and we'd love to have them back.  The only question is should we do it during the summer or wait until next school year?  Any suggestions?  Feel free to contact the library at 619-463-3236 or email me at amanda.heller@sdcounty.ca.gov for more information.
