As promised, my blog as depicted in May of last year was to focus on education, politics and social trends. I have written two blog pieces on education, in particular on the California High School Exit Exam. Let's switch over for this blog posting to politics at the national level.
I am predicting that President Obama will convince Joe Biden not to run with him as the VP candidate in the upcoming election. I predict that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who has already stated that she will not serve in that capacity should Obama be re-elected, will accept his invitation to be his running mate.
Yes, Hillary has stated that her reason for not wanting to re-up for another term as Madame Secretary of State is that she is "tired" and does not want to perform further public service in any capacity. She wants to retire (possibly I can get her to sign up to be in the La Mesa Senior Softball League; maybe she would end up on a team I am on). I take her at her word.
However, one's mind can be changed. So in conclusion, I predict that Joe Biden will graciously step aside, and Hillary Clinton will be persuaded to run with Barack Obama in the November 2012 election. Remember, you heard it here first.
This way you will not be surprised when it happens. You can ask my wife, and she will verify that I correctly picked the 2004 candidates on the Democratic ticket prior to Kerry's winning the primaries and before the announcement of his selection of John Edwards (how the "smutty" have fallen) as his running mate.
