Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Annie earned an Award of Merit for the PTA Reflections Contest, a countywide honor and arts competition (the next step is the state competition). This is her third Award of Merit in a row. This year, she won for a photograph of the Everyone a Reader program at Murdock in answer to the theme "Together We Can."

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Annie is very artistic. Two years ago she won the Helix Water District Poster Contest. She is also an actress, having made her professional debut with Lamb's Players Theatre in "An American Christmas" at the Hotel Del Coronado last holiday, and is now appearing in her second Peter Pan Junior Theatre show. She tries to do her best in all things, but definitely shines when it comes to the arts. She loves to express herself, whether it's in a drawing, photography or on stage.
