Mount Helix Patch has learned that several students from local areas have made the Dean’s List at their respective colleges, for the Fall 2011 semester.

Ignacia Oraha Al Rais of Spring Valley has made the Dean’s List at Springfield College (Springfield, MA). Ignacia went to Mount Miguel High School. She is studying Human Services.

Veronica Castro of Spring Valley has made the Dean’s List at Springfield College (Springfield, MA). Veronica also went to Mount Miguel High School, and is also studying Human Services.

Lynne Saladin of unincorporated El Cajon has made the Dean’s List at Whittier College (Whittier, CA). Saladin maintained a GPA of 3.70 or higher in order to make the list. She is a graduate of Valhalla High School.

Zach Alper of La Mesa has made the Dean’s List at Denison University (Granville, OH). Zach is a graduate of Steele Canyon High School and maintained a GPA of 3.70 or higher for the semester.

Sarah Rens of La Mesa has made the Dean’s List at DePaul University (Chicago, IL.) Sarah is a graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace, and maintained a GPA or 3.0 or higher for the semester.

Renee Shider of Spring Valley has been named to the Dean’s List at Chatham University (Pittsburgh, PA). Renee is in her third year at Chatham, and maintained a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester. She is a graduate of Foothills Christian High School.
