Photos: Grossmont Doubles Up on Santana in Last Nonleague Swim Meet

Foothillers outpoint visiting Sultans in boys and girls varsity competitions at Grossmont pool.

Grossmont High School boys and girls swimmers outscored visiting Santana in their last nonleague meet Friday evening. Hiller varsity girls won 126-58 and the boys won 111-69.

In the girls division, first-place finishers were 200-yard medley relay: Clare Curran, Nichole Tex, Holly Callahan and Megan Haar, Grossmont; 200-yard freestyle: Callahan, Grossmont; 200-yard IM: Sara Lenhoff, Santana; 50-yard freestyle: Haar, Grossmont; 100-yard butterfly: Callahan, Grossmont; 100-yard freestyle: Haar, Grossmont; 500-freestyle: Tex, Grossmont; 200-yard freestyle relay: Amanda Fredricks, Marisa Herrera, Nichole Ross and Gabrielle Miller, Grossmont; 100-yard backstroke: Sara Lenhoff, Santana; 100-yard breast stroke: Curran, Grossmont; 400-yard freestyle relay: Callahan, Haar, Tex and Curran, Grossmont.

In the boys division, first-place finishers were 200-yard medley relay: Dakota Kettler, Nathan Bailey, Yoni Landstedt and Nicolas Gagnon, Grossmont; 200-yard freestyle: Griffin Rizzo, Santana; 200-yard IM: Bailey, Grossmont; 50-yard freestyle: Matthew Carpenter, Grossmont; 100-yard butterfly: Griffin Rizzo, Santana; 100-yard freestyle: Kettler, Grossmont; 500-freestyle: Noah Monaghan, Grossmont;  200-yard freestyle relay: Kevin Torres, Julian Reisch, Austin Peterson and Shane Monaghan, Grossmont; 100-yard backstroke: Drew Summy, Santana; 100-yard breast stroke: Bailey, Grossmont; 400-yard freestyle relay: Bailey, Joseph Contasti, Carpenter and Kettler, Grossmont.
